The Għaqda Studenti tat-Teoloġija (Għ.S.T.) or Theology Students Association (T.S.A.) is a faculty-based student senate-recognised organisation. It is an autonomous organisation whose members profess Christian principles. All students reading theology at the University of Malta are automatically members of Għ.S.T., and are all eligible to vote for the executive committee members.
The Association’s main aims include:
- Representation: To represent its members in front of university authorities on any issue which concerns them.
- Formation: To help members, and where possible also other students, in their spiritual and theological formation and aid them in putting this in practice through solidarity.
- Social: To help Theological students get to know each other through the organisation of various social activities.
- Active participation: To promote member involvement in university life.
